Ann-Marie Bryson MAMT, HCPC

HCPC Registered Music Therapist

Hello, my name is Ann-Marie Bryson.  I am a HCPC registered Therapist with 20 years’ experience of supporting adults across a diverse range of issues.

I offer an invitation to engage in a creative pathway, for you to explore thoughts and feelings without always having to find the words.  I am passionate about creating a safe and trusting space in which people can achieve their potential in life. I believe fully in the power of connections and reconnection which often challenges in life can disturb.  What I offer is an opportunity to be heard, heal and repair through a creative lens and within the safety of the therapeutic relationship. My approach will be adapted and personalised to best meet your individual needs and wants.

I support people who experience anxiety, stress, depression, self- harm, suicidal thoughts, bereavement, relationship difficulties, neurodivergent issues, trauma recovery.  My experience of working with children and young people also offers me the opportunity to support those who are concerned about their relationships with their children or parenting challenges.

My approach is trauma informed, integrative and client led incorporating psychodynamic, person-centred and aspects of cognitive/behavioural therapy.   I firmly believe that we connect with people whom we trust and where there is no judgment or expectations.  A space where we are accepted for who we are. I offer this confidential space which is full of creativity and possibilities.

I am also trained in music therapy which will be available in the sessions when needed, if you don’t feel like using music we can talk and process things verbally.  I will use my full array of skills to support you fully through your journey.
