I contacted NI Counselling at the beginning of the year. The idea of counselling was always daunting to me, and the selection process couldn’t have been more straightforward. I was matched with Orla, and after the first session, all of my worries about the idea of counselling were eased. Orla instantly created a safe and welcoming environment because she was genuinely interested in helping me develop the tools I needed to get me to a place where I could do the work on my own. The fear soon turned into excitement and I found myself looking forward to my sessions each week. I cannot thank Orla enough for listening and providing me a perspective that I could resonate with. The difference in myself pre and post therapy is like night and day. I am so grateful for the support and couldn’t thank Orla and the team enough.
